SMITH-WESTERN Consulting was formed in 1998 and today has completed over $150,000,000 in project costs.

Our basic approach combines management skills, technical expertise, industry knowledge and effective public affairs outreach skills.  When developing, renovating or rehabilitating a project, an incomparable amount of attention to detail is required.  With every phase of a project, from site acquisition to preparing detailed budget projections to team management, a constant examination of each phase is demanded.

As an independent consultant, we will not tell which specific contractor to call. But we’ll tell you what type of contractor, association, or consultant to work with, what questions to ask and how to identify your options.

Our objective, problem-solving approach coupled with expertise in the design, construction, and development processes strengthens the relationships of the project team, owner, and lender, while identifying and resolving critical issues.
