August 2008
SMITH-WESTERN Consulting entered into a contract with NIKE, Inc., to provide Contract Project Management Services for the NIKE Northridge Distribution Center, Memphis, Tennessee. The facility includes over 1,100,000 square feet of distribution and warehouse space. The facility, when fully operational will employ approximately 300 to 400 employees.
January 2009
Construction will begin in early 2009 on the 38 lot Trinity Park Subdivision for Habitat for Humanity Greater Memphis. SMITH-WESTERN Consulting was hired by Habitat for Humanity to provide Development services for the project. When completed the project will provide affordable housing for 38 deserving families. The subdivision will include a community building for the subdivision's residents. The project will include curvilinear street design and open common areas for landscape.
